If you're into 90s chill out then the label are perfect for you. A lot of people genuinely thought they were a 90s tribute label to begin with, but I believe their boss cleared this up on facebook when he told people it was an ironic 90s label and not a tribute 90s label which was a relief to their fans who don't like tribute acts. Though when you consider how they've plagiarised boards of Canada's 90s output, it does make one wonder if their boss was lying when he said it was ironic. Going back to earlier fax styles of the 90s makes perfect sense if the album is a 90s tribute rather than an ironic 90s album as the label has a strong history of sounding like they came here in a time machine from that era. Good on them for hitting the 90s button so often, though it does get boring very quickly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
